Focusing on Reflection, and Family

About 14 months ago, I wrote a piece on reflection where I shared, "I gave all of my Sunday to my family. Hours and hours and hours." Yesterday, the exact same sentences would have been 100% true.

From sun up to sun down (and then some), yesterday was all about others' needs before my own. Some days, I wouldn't want it any other way. Even if in the moment, it feels like I'll never have 5 minutes to myself again. I know we will miss these days. Of intensely being needed. Of being able to guide and talk and plan and grow. With our young children...before we blink and they enter adulthood.

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. - Søren Kierkegaard

We are all on our own individual journeys. This weighs on my mind frequently. Even more so these days with a global pandemic and many, many sales professionals working remotely and only interacting with customers, potential clients, and colleagues virtually.

Maybe the blog post on reflection from last year will offer something to you as you begin your week.
