There are many schools of thought on making New Year's resolutions.
I am 100% in favor of making resolutions for yourself...and writing them down.
My New Year's resolutions are almost always focused on trying new things, building stronger relationships, and challenging myself to be a better version of myself - each year. This might be quite different from those who tend to focus mostly on diet and exercise.
For 2020, I wrote down eight resolutions. Most of those eight had a lot of activities connected to them. For example, I wanted to mail birthday cards to at least 20 people during 2020. Of course, the resolutions were made before we knew 2020 would be a crazy year with a global pandemic; so a bit of adaptation was required for one, and I deleted another one completely after it became clear this year was going to be a doozy.
With 2021 just around the bend, I'm already brainstorming what I want on my 2021 resolutions list. What goals do I want to set for myself? What commitments would be meaningful?
Feel free to share your own commentary on New Year's resolutions in general, or how you'll plan for your 2021 specifically.
To a better year ahead!
