Over a year ago, I wrote a short piece on the power of live music.
Here we are a year later, and a global pandemic seems to be cramping a lot of our styles. Festivals canceled. Concerts postponed. Summer not at all like we had hoped or planned.
But that doesn't mean there's no music! It means we need to create our own experiences instead of relying on others.
Are you ready for a new playlist? One that will motivate you to push through the pandemic?
One that will inspire you to focus on what 2020 can be, instead of dwelling on all the things that have gone wrong or been canceled.
One that is shareable for you to contribute to directly as well?*
One that started as 20 songs, from 20 women, across 20 different states?
I sent notes to women I know all across the United States. And asked each one of them this question:
What is one of your all-time favorite sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs, put-you-in-a-good-mood songs?
Here are their responses - and I've created a Spotify playlist to make it easy for you to listen, and add, to this list of songs.
