I'm usually not one for gratitude journals, or other seemingly hokey (apologies if I offend) ways to list out all that we are thankful for in this world.
I'm a person of deep faith; and being truly grateful for the life I've been given is practically second nature for me.
And yet, here we are, in the middle of a global pandemic, and maybe, just maybe, we should pause and reflect; and realize there is so much more to be thankful for than not.
With this year being impossibly different than what we might have imagined, this might take time, reflection, a notebook, or even a discussion with a close family member or friend.
I am thankful for my husband and kids (trite, but oh so very true). I am thankful I like to cook, and (most days) do not mind that I'm "stuck" at home. I am thankful that I find fulfillment in the work that I do. I am thankful for pumpkin pie. I am thankful for much, much more, but will leave it all for another day.
What are you most thankful for?
Maybe your answers will lead you to action as you wrap up 2020 and fix your sights on 2021?
Gotta go...time for pie!
